Who it's for

Businesses that publish often, with a marketing or content team who want to change pages, launch campaigns and write articles themselves, and a site that stays fast and consistent as it grows.

The outcome: A fast website and a CMS your team is trained on, so content changes no longer wait for a developer.

What's included

  • A short comparison of Sanity, Storyblok and Payload for your team and budget, and the CMS set up in an account in your name.
  • Content models for your page types, such as services, articles, team, locations and case studies, so each has the fields it needs and nothing else.
  • A page builder of sections we design for your brand, so editors can make new pages that always look right.
  • Preview before publishing, scheduled publishing where the CMS supports it, and editor roles.
  • A front end built with Next.js, or Nuxt if your team works in Vue, that loads quickly and is set up for search, with images resized automatically.
  • Up to 20 existing pages or articles moved across from your current site, with redirects from the old addresses.
  • A training session for your editors and a short written guide.

Not included

  • The CMS subscription, if the plan you need has one. Payload is open source and runs in your own hosting.
  • Moving more than 20 pages or articles. We quote a larger move once we've seen the content.
  • Writing your content, photography and translation.

How it runs

  1. Week 1Your page types, sections and the CMS choice agreed and signed off, with the design direction.
  2. Weeks 2 to 4The CMS set up and the site built, with a preview link and editor access so your team tries it as it grows.
  3. Final weekContent moved across, redirects in place, editor training, and launch.

Why trust us with it

We have no published headless CMS client work to show, so we won't pretend otherwise. This site is ours, built on Next.js, the front end we'd pair with your CMS, with structured data and fast pages throughout.

After launch

Keep it working after launch

Websites and apps need looking after once they're live. Website care Plus is the plan most people choose after this, at £195 a month.

Already have an app or site that needs looking after?

Questions we get asked

It depends on your team. Storyblok has a visual editor where you click on the page to change it, which suits marketing teams. Sanity is very flexible and good when content is reused across a site and an app. Payload is open source and runs in your own hosting, with no per-seat fees, which suits teams that want everything in-house. We recommend one in week one and explain why.
